The main stage will showcase a variety of South Asian arts and culture, music, dance and fashion. Community arts organisations and emerging artists, such as Nurpur Arts and Desi Masti will perform traditional and contemporary pieces, giving young artists the opportunity to showcase their talent and cultural identity. As well as International Artsists, there will be a traditional and contemporary South Asian fashion catwalk choreographed by UK based company Asian Rain.

 The Mela Opportunity Stage is dedicated to emerging artists, community arts organisations, schools, young people and traditional South Asian artists. It provided a safe, secure and friendly environment for these artists to showcase their work and express their identity publically for the first time.

The Mela Arts Zone is a unique arts space across Gallowtree Gate host to 200 feet of participatory arts marquees featuring workshops, exhibitions and a creative arts space where members of the public are invited and encouraged to experience South Asian art like never before. We focus on providing free arts for all, in a safe, open access area to new and existing audiences.

Buzzing with an audience of thousands from across the region, the Mela Bazaar showcases a unique mix of South Asian culture including fashion, jewellery, clothing, arts, crafts, toys and a huge variety of food stalls from across India and the UK to celebrate culture and diversity.
